MANCHESTER, N.H., July 31, 2007 -- Schleuniger's PowerCut 3700 automatic cutting machine, for measuring and cutting larger round and flat materials, has a powerful pneumatic cutter head guarantees a clean, perpendicular cut and can be used for a wide variety of applications. Belt drives provide high-performance cable transport and outstanding length precision.

The PowerCut 3700 features a high transport speed, short cutting cycles, reliable adjustment of the variable cable guides and easy-to-read scales and a simple, user-friendly programming interface. A logically structured user menu with an integrated wire and cable library enable intuitive operation.

Two key features of the PowerCut 3700 are a sturdy high-performance belt-feed transport unit, which provides high pulling forces, and a strong pneumatic cutter head, for short cutting cycle times. It cuts materials such flat and flexible wires or profiles and corrugated tubing with ease.

Flexible user interfaces allow full integration of active and passive peripheral machines, making the PowerCut 3700 the core of a fully automatic processing system. Prefeeding, marking, printing, stacking or coiling solutions can be easily combined to enhance its processing capabilitie. The PowerCut 3700 can also be used as a powerful stand-alone machine.
