Request InfoCoherent Inc.Coherent Inc. has released the Avia 355-23, a UV solid-state laser that delivers more than 23 W of Q-switched output at 355 nm. The RoHS-compliant device supports single-shot repetition rates of up to 300 kHz, and its frequency-tripling component has a projected lifetime of more than 22,000 h. Pulse width is <40 ns at up to 90 kHz, pulse-to-pulse stability is <5% rms at up to 120 kHz, and beam circularity is >85%. The laser outputs a TEM00 beam with M2 <1.3. Typical power consumption is 800 W, with a maximum of 1.3 kW. Operating temperature range is from 10 to 30 °C.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra April 2023 IssueIndustrial Picosecond LaserThe HyperRapid NXT industrial picosecond laser from Coherent Corp. features a 10-W average output power in the deep-UV to enable ultra-precise edge ablation for organic LED displays.
