Request InfoSydor TechnologiesSydor Instruments LLC has unveiled an ultrafast compact VCSEL optical comb generator that produces minimum average power of 1 mW and ultraviolet, visible or near-IR pulses on the order of several gigahertz. It features continuous or gated operation from 50 to 1000 ns with trigger jitter of <2 ps. The dual-frequency device operates at 1.976 GHz FWHM with a pulse width of ∼60 ps and at 493.986 MHz FWHM with a pulse width of ∼360 ps. Operating wavelength is 665 nm, and frequency stability is 1 ppm. A thermoelectric cooler provides stability.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaWEBINARSPhotonics.com 1/9/2023Innovations in Ultrashort-Pulse and RF-Excited CO2 Lasers Expand Materials Processing ApplicationsIndustrial laser materials processing is constantly evolving.
