Toptica Photonics AG is offering three versions of its FemtoFiber white-light lasers: widely tunable visible, and visible and infrared supercontinuums, covering the spectral range from 485 to 2100 nm. The broadband supercontinuums are generated in photonic crystal fibers or in highly nonlinear fibers, and individual lines can be extracted from the visible supercontinuum via acousto-optical tunable filters. Total power in the range from 1000 to 2100 nm is typically 150 mW, and an additional compression module enables generation of <40-fs pulse durations from 980 to 1400 nm. The tunable visible version has a bandwidth of 1 nm and a tuning range from 485 to 700 nm, with power between 1 and 10 mW. The visible supercontinuum spectrum ranges from 530 to 1000 nm, and it has typical total power of 40 mW.
