DANDERYD, Sweden, July 9, 2008 – Flir Systems has introduced the new ThermoVision A320G that is lightweight, compact and ideal for machine vision, production control and automation applications.

This fix-mounted infrared camera system belongs to Flir’s already established A-Series line.


The A320G is the first infrared camera to carry to GigE Vision camera communication protocol that allows fast image transfer with Gigabit Eternet. The camera system is equipped with a maintenance-free, microbolometer detector that measures temperatures in different ranges between -20 up to an optional 1200 °C, and detects temperature differences as small as 70 mK. The GenICAM software standard compliance substantially facilitates system integration and configuration, while reducing installation to a simple plug-and-play. It also offers compatibility with third-party software packages. The camera’s internal multicamera utility software links up to nine cameras. 


According to Flir, the TermoVision A320G will be available with a new version of the Flir Systems TermaCAM Researcher software for advanced image analysis. The suite contains powerful temperature measurement and analysis functions, including isotherms, line profiles, area histograms, and image subtractions capability.
