Request InfoKyoto Semiconductor Co. Ltd.Kyosemi Corp. has unveiled its KPDU37S1 UV photodiode that offers high responsivity for the detection of UV light at wavelengths from 360 to 380 nm. The photodiode has a responsivity of up to 140 mA/W at its peak wavelength. It is insensitive to visible light, enabling accurate detection without the addition of a filter in the presence of visible light. Applications include monitoring of UV cure processes, protein fluorescence analysis, and flame detector and bill validation.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra May 2024 IssuePIN PhotodiodeThe VEMD2704 from Vishay Intertechnology is a silicon PIN photodiode that can be used with green LEDs for optical heart rate detection and red LEDs for pulse oximetry applications.
