The Pixis-XO: 2048B camera from Princeton Instruments/Acton is suitable for x-ray microscopy, x-ray imaging, x-ray spectroscopy, extreme-UV lithography and x-ray plasma diagnostics. The CCD camera has a compact, single-head design and features an ultrahigh-vacuum interface, thermoelectric cooling and low-noise electronics without an external liquid circulator. It cools to better than –65 °C. The camera is offered with e2v technologies back-illuminated CCD 42-40, a 2048 × 2048-format sensor without antireflection coating and a large 27.6 × 27.6-mm image area. The sensor operates at 100 kHz and 2 MHz.
