SALEM, N.H., Aug. 13, 2012 — ProPhotonix Ltd. has announced an expansion of its LED product line.
The company has extended its LED offerings to include products using enhanced optical configurations and new IR and UV wavelengths. Its engineers have leveraged advancements in LED technology to increase the intensity across the range, affording end users additional options.
SpecBright spotlights are now available in UV and white options. They feature up to three times the intensity previously offered and two new diffuser options for applications requiring a more uniform spot.
SpecBright line lights now are available with up to seven times higher intensity, a broad beam option (LN1) suited to area-scan applications, and three additional wavelengths: 370, 395 and 870 nm.
SpecBright area lights now produce up to five times more intensity and are available in an 870-nm version.
SpecBright ringlights are now offered in the UV with 365- and 395-nm wavelengths available.
The additions accommodate machine vision integrators, OEMs and end users who require brighter illuminators without compromising system space. SpecBrights use proprietary chip-on-board technology, enabling uniform, high-intensity, compact illuminators that meet customers’ inspection requirements.
