EUGENE, Ore., June 5, 2013 — The f-POM piezo objective mover from Applied Scientific Instrumentation provides high-speed, large-load, long-travel operation over 150, 300 or 500 µm.

The standard controller offers closed-loop 3-dB bandwidth with a 600-g load of 30 Hz (11 ms for moves below 30% of travel range); the high-performance controller offers closed-loop 3-dB bandwidth with a 280-g load of 75 Hz for moves over 70% of the travel range (3.3 ms for moves below 30%).

The unit can be configured for all microscope objective sizes.
