SANTA ROSA, Calif., July 15, 2013 — Deposition Sciences Inc. has expanded its line of optical thin-film coatings for commercial and industrial applications to include antireflection and IR coatings, and hot/cold and front-surface mirrors.

The coatings can be applied to a variety of substrates, including glass, ceramics, plastics, metal and active-device silicon wafers. Proprietary deposition methods permit conformal coatings on geometries ranging from complex shapes to ball lenses, beamsplitters, domes, mirrors, windows and tunnels/tubes.

The products span the UV, visible, near-IR, shortwave IR, midwave IR, longwave IR and very longwave IR wavelengths for use in applications including display, night vision, lighting, astronomy, biomedical, industrial IR and UV curing filters, x-ray systems, ophthalmic lenses and the life sciences.
