Request InfoZemax, Optical Product Design SoftwareZemax has introduced OpticStudio 14, the latest version of its software for designing 2-D and 3-D models of optical and illumination systems. Featuring a new graphics engine for design visualization and CAD-like control, the software features ribbon menus for finding tools and settings. OpticStudio 14 allows the user to create 2-D and 3-D models with dynamic cutting surfaces, and to view the model as shaded solid or wireframe. Controls allow the user to pan, rotate, tilt and zoom in on every detail. Charts and models can be exported for use in reports and presentations.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPromoted Content March 2024 IssueMicro Imaging System for EndoscopyCustom made Micro Imaging System for Endoscopy The optical requirements for endoscopic imaging are not in themselves extraordinarily challenging; the challenge comes from having to meet...Photonics Spectra May 2024 IssueCO2 Focusing LensesThe line of ZnSe laser focusing lenses from Laser Research Optics was created to cut thick diamond plates and other heavy steel fabrications.
