UNTERSCHLEISSHEIM, Germany, Oct. 7, 2014 — With CoaXPress real-time data interface, the EoSens 25CXP camera from Mikrotron is a 25-megapixel CMOS device for industrial image processing in the automation and quality assurance fields.

The EoSens’ interface features transmission rates of up to 6.25 Gb/s with a single-core cable, and up to 25 Gb/s with four cores. One cable is used for data transfer, PC communication, PC control and power supply at transmission distances of over 100 m.

At a resolution of 5120 × 5120 pixels, the camera guarantees a frame rate of 80 fps. 880 fps is delivered in full-HD, and 100,000 fps is possible at reduced resolutions. An integrated global shutter allows for the simultaneous exposure of all pixels, with the shortest exposure time up to 1 µs.
