Mini Focus Module from New Scale TechnologiesThis miniature focus module with built-in controller is the smallest, easiest-to-integrate focus system for precision microscopes that are embedded in handheld instruments.

The M3-FS Focus Module moves M16 lenses with 0.5 µm resolution and amazing dynamic stability. The built-in controller takes 3.3 V and runs on battery power. It communicates directly with your system processor over SPI or I2C using simple, high-level motion commands.

With NO need for an external control board, the M3-FS TOTAL system size is only 20 x 23 x 16 mm.

It is easily assembled into handheld, mobile and portable instruments, spurring development of smaller, next-generation instruments for a wide range of biopohotonics applications including IVD, DNA identification, pathogen detection and flow cytometry.
