Request Info3D-Micromac AGThe MicroDice™ OTF system by 3D-Micromac AG uses thermal laser separation (TLS) technology to split photovoltaic cells into half cells. The use of half cells increases the average module power yield. Compared with laser scribing and cleaving approaches, TLS-cut cells show higher mechanical strength and better edge quality, with reduced handling costs. The TLS process is based on thermal-induced mechanical stress, generated by a combination of laser heating and cooling. The MicroDice OTF achieves a throughput of 3600 cells per hour. The optical setup relies on the same...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra January 2024 IssueF-Theta Objective LensThe JENar™ Silverline™ 340-355-332-S from Jenoptik is an F-Theta objective lens for laser material processing that is specially designed to meet the requirements of solar cell production....Photonics.com 8/31/2023Optoelectronic MaterialsThe line of Optoelectronic Materials from Alfa Chemistry offers many organic solutions to photonic problems.
