ERLANGEN, Germany, Sept. 4, 2015 — Optocraft GmbH offers a Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensor system for recording the characteristic values of optical lenses in both research and production. The basic SHSLab system consists of the wavefront sensor SHSCam and the software SHSWorks. SHSCam features a 2D array of microlenses and a CCD detector. The local radius of curvature of a wavefront on the microlens array can be as small as 5 mm, so wavefronts with extreme curves can also be measured. Sensors are available with up to 240 × 160 spots and an evaluation rate up to 1000 Hz. SHSWorks software allows testing of variables such as wavefront aberrations, imaging quality (Strehl, modulation transfer function, etc.), focal length and laser quality.
