TOKYO, Sept. 30, 2015 — The AQ6375B optical spectrum analyzer from Yokogawa Test & Measurement, a division of Yokogawa BV, operates in the shortwave-infrared region, covering wavelengths from 1200 to 2400 nm. The analyzer combines high measurement performance of 0.5 s/100 nm with easy operation, incorporating features such as gas purging, a built-in cutoff filter, data logging capabilities, a double speed mode and support for Windows file sharing. The AQ6375B offers high wavelength accuracy of ±0.05 nm from 1520 to 1580 nm, ±0.50 nm in full range and high wavelength resolution of 0.05 nm. A wide close-in dynamic range of 55 dB is also featured, as well as a wide measurement level range of 20 to –70 dBm. An advanced monochromator design helps separate spectral signals in close proximity to one another, improving the dynamic range by reducing the influence of stray light. Applications include use in telecom devices and systems operating in single-mode transmission, measurements in environmental monitoring, and the biomedical sector.
