The In-Sight® L38 3D Vision System from Cognex combines AI, 2D, and 3D vision technologies to create projection images for simplified training and revealing features not visible with traditional 2D imaging. The system’s AI tools detect variable or undefined features, while rule-based algorithms provide 3D measurements to deliver reliable inspection results for inspection in manufacturing automation. The In-Sight L38 3D Vision System’s 3D tools require as few as five to ten labeled images to automate a task and use speckle-free laser optics to minimize visual noise and glare to capture higher resolution images than traditional laser displacement sensors.
