The AY110-40 series from Optimal Engineering Systems Inc. are compact rotary stages for microscopy, laser positioning and machining, inspection, assembly, and testing applications. The stages have a 40-mm (1.575 in.) diameter table that is 30 mm (1.181 in.) high with an 8-mm (0.314 in.) aperture and a footprint of 133 mm × 57.5 mm (5.236 in. × 2.264 in.). The series has a range of travel of 360° with continuous rotation and is driven by a 64:1 worm gear. The AY110-40 stages also feature a resolution of 0.028126° without a micro-stepping driver, a Quadrature Optical Encoder for position verification, and a load capacity of 5 kg (11 lbs.).
