SANTA BARBARA, Calif., July 17, 2023 — The Neon RD0033 low-noise digital readout integrated circuit from Senseeker Engineering Inc. is designed for SWIR applications.

The device features a 10-μm pitch pixel with a capacitive transimpedance amplifier front-end circuit, making it suitable for low-light and low-current detector technologies. It is designed for use in high-operating temperature conditions. The RD0033 has a 640 × 512 format and a frame rate of 700 fps. It offers triple-gain modes with programmable well capacities and read noise of 15 electrons at room temperature in high-gain. The chip is a global shutter with various integration control modes and supports range-gating applications. It also features on-chip and off-chip correlated double sampling modes and operates in different read modes.
