Fiber-Coupled Multibar Modules
DILAS Diodenlaser GmbHRequest Info
Dilas has announced fiber-coupled multibar modules that deliver up to 1-kW output from a 400-m core diameter fiber at 976 nm. The high-brightness, high-power modules offer a compact footprint and a convenient aiming beam. Their 400-µm cladding-mode-free QBH (Optoskand) 400-µm fiber has a numerical aperture of <0.2 and wall-plug efficiency of >35%. The bars are optically stacked and polarization-coupled. Macrochannel coolers keep water requirements simple. All modules are available with either QBH or LLK-B industrial fiber connectors. An 800-µm core diameter fiber with a numerical aperture of 0.12 also is available. Custom wavelengths can be supplied. Line-narrow versions using volume Bragg gratings are offered. The modules are suitable for direct diode applications and for fiber and solid-state laser pumping.
