Thales Angenieux SASRequest Info
Applications for the Elvir, an uncooled 320 × 240-pixel infrared camera manufactured by Thales Angenieux, include surveillance, medical imaging, predictive maintenance, high-voltage line inspection, process control and food processing. Built-in auto and manual gain and offset and histogram equalization algorithms provide sharp, clear images in any conditions, the company says. Typical thermal sensitivity is 80 mK at f/0.8 at 30 °C. Analog output is 50 or 60 Hz, and spectral response is from 8 to 12 µm. The device can be operated from standard batteries or accumulators or from a 10- to 16-VDC external supply. A binocular display connected to the IR camera via a cable provides remote visualization.
