The M2 and M3 from RoboSense are mid- and long-range lidar sensors, respectively, for automotive applications. The M2 uses 2D scanning and MEMS chips that allow for a range of 200 m at 10% reflectivity and angular resolution of 0.1° × 0.1° in its region of interest. The M3 uses 940-nm wavelengths to deliver a range of 300 m at 10% reflectivity and 0.05° × 0.05° angular resolution within the region of interest.
