OPTICAL GLASS
Sumita Optical Glass Inc.Request Info
Sumita Optical Glass Inc. has introduced the K-PG325/Super Vidron optical glass for precision molding in the temperature range from 320 to 330 °C. The glass features a 285 °C transformation point for higher heat resistance, and has lower thermal expansion and no birefringence or hydroscopic characteristics. The low molding temperature also expands the selection of die materials and extends the life of the die. The glass can be formed into shapes that include fly-eye lenses, microlens arrays, aspheric lenses with built-in holograms, and fiber optic arrays.
