The TOPO smart from TOPTICA Photonics AG is a smart continuous wave mid-IR laser for sensing and spectroscopy applications. An optical parametric oscillator, the laser uses a pumping scheme to boost performance and includes a touchscreen and multiple connectivity options for integration into existing setups. The TOPO smart features a tuning range of 3100 - 3500 nm, mode hop free tuning range of >15 GHz, a <500-kHz linewidth, an output power of >30 mW, and beam quality factor less than two.
