Three-Chip Camera Head
CANON MEDICAL COMPONENTS U.S.A., Video Sensing DevicesRequest Info
Toshiba Imaging Systems Div. has introduced an ultracompact three-chip high-definition camera head that measures 1.6 in. and weighs 2.3 oz. The three-CCD IK-HD1 provides 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution, operates at 30 fps and features generation lock, making it suitable for 3-D imaging and other specialty high-definition video imaging broadcast applications, such as reality TV, sports, news and commercials. The camera head features proprietary three-CCD prism block technology that delivers vibrant yet realistic colors, a wide dynamic range and good detail. The CCD camera avoids the rolling-shutter artifacts that are present on many CMOS-based models.
