IMAGE ACQUISITION
Nov 1, 2001 — National Instruments has released its the NI-Imaq driver software for image processing in the field via an IEEE-1394-compatible camera. It contains functions that enable users to create LabView and Measurement Studio programs and that allow easy connection of a camera to a laptop computer. The software provides color image acquisition at 30 fps with up to 640 x 480 resolution. Optional digital image acquisition boards are available for higher frame rates and resolutions.
