AEgIS Cools Positronium with Lasers, Enabling New Antimatter Studies
MEYRIN, Switzerland, Feb. 26, 2024 — Researchers at CERN’s Antimatter Factory working on the Antihydrogen Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy (AEgIS) have cooled positronium with laser light for the first time.
