Martinsville NASCAR Track to Upgrade With LEDs
RIDGEWAY, Va., Oct. 25, 2016 — The Martinsville Speedway, one of the shortest and oldest NASCAR tracks in the U.S., is set to upgrade itself with all LED lighting. Up to $5 million has been earmarked by the International Speedway Corp. (ISC) to equip the track. The new fixtures will provide better illumination, greater flexibility and more efficiency than traditional metal halide lights.
