ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 27, 2017 — The New Focus 83xx-UHV-NM series of Picomotor Actuators from Newport feature Kapton wires and provide ½ or 1 in. of travel. The actuators can be used in ultrahigh-vacuum environments and are suited for beam steering and other scientific motion control applications in vacuum down to 10-9 Torr as well as in radiation applications where Kapton wiring is required.
