Faraday Enclosure for ScienceDesk Systems
Jun 18, 2004 — CARLSBAD, Calif., June 18 -- Experiments in electrophysiology, confocal microscopy and other sensitive applications often must be shielded from external interferences such as high-frequency electromagnetic waves (e.g., AM/FM radio waves), drafts, light and electrostatic fields. The ScienceDesk Faraday enclosure protects against these external sources of interference by attenuating electromagnetic interference by up to 50 dB at 10 MHz and 29 dB at 1 GHz. Thermal variations and dust contamination...
