oreXpress
LAWRENCE, Mass., July 10, 2014 — The oreXpress and oreXpress Platinum field spectrometers from Spectral Evolution provide core logging for determining mining potential. Both models have a spectral range of 350 to 2500 nm. With EZ-ID mineral identification software and a custom library builder module, the probe can scan 400 m of core at 25 cm intervals in a day. Data is saved as ASCII files for use with third-party software for 3-D modeling, mine mapping and mine planning.
