O’FALLON, Mo., March 4, 2014 — RPMC Lasers has introduced Bright Solutions’ SOL diode-dumped solid-state (DPSS) laser for applications including plastics and metals marking and machining, lidar and rangefinding, and nonlinear optics. The laser produces up to 5 W of average power (25 kW of peak power) at 1572 nm with pulse widths from 10 to 20 ns, repetition rates from 10 to 50 kHz and M2 <2.5.
