VC funding for solar drops 50 percent in 2012
Feb 1, 2013 — Venture capitalists (VCs) invested half as much in the solar industry in 2012 as they did the year before, and the overall VC funding for solar reached its lowest point since 2007, according to a January report by clean energy communications and consulting firm Mercom Capital Group LLC.
