Tayebati Named CEO of Teradiode
High-power laser manufacturer TeraDiode has named Parviz Tayebati the company’s CEO and newest board member. TeraDiode holds the exclusive license for high-power direct diode laser technology from MIT.
Prior to joining TeraDiode, Parviz was CEO and co-founder of Azna Corp., a telecommunication lasers company that was acquired by Finisar Corp. in 2007. He also founded and was CEO of CoreTek Inc., which pioneered tunable photonic products for the telecommunications industry. CoreTek was acquired by Nortel Networks in 2000.
