Horiba Europe Opens New R&D Facility

PARIS, Nov. 20, 2012 — Horiba Europe’s new 7500-sq-ft research and technology center at Saclay Technopole is now open. The facility — built to serve as the European headquarters for the company’s 1700 employees in France, Germany and the UK — can be expanded to 18,000 sq ft. It will house a number of Horiba’s local activities, including the design and manufacture of Horiba Jobin Yvon’s spectroscopic diffraction gratings and scientific instrumentation; biophotonics specialist Genoptics, acquired by Horiba in 2012; and parts of Horiba’s Medical and Scientific Div....Read full article
