LONDON, Sept. 29, 2025 — Ultralytics, a company specializing in vision AI at the edge, completed a $30 million Series A funding round. The investment will support R&D and help the company expand its ecosystem of solutions powered by its object detection and image segmentation model for vision AI applications, known as YOLO.

Ultralytics will also use the funding to hire workers in R&D, enterprise solutions engineering, and go-to-market teams.

YOLO, which stands for, "You Only Look Once," is a vision AI/computer vision solution that enables organizations to automate the identification of objects in images and videos and take action based on what they see. The technology is already deployed for applications across industries including agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, and robotics, for use cases such as monitoring crops, powering autonomous driving systems, managing retail inventory, improving manufacturing quality control, and streamlining logistics.
