Imperx Appoints Business Development Director
Imperx, a provider of ruggedized cameras for machine vision, has appointed Arie Kaplan as director of business development. Kaplan brings extensive technical and market expertise in imaging, lasers, and optics as well is in machine vision, including metrology, aerospace, defense, and food and beverage.

His previous work has focused on cameras and sensors for imaging across the spectrum from the UV to thermal IR, multispectral and hyperspectral imaging, and colorimetry. Kaplan has held key roles at companies such as Boeing, DRS, and Coherent, as well as smaller organizations.
