Video technology company Milestone Systems has acquired brighter AI, a provider of anonymizations solutions for video data based on deep learning technology to protect identities in public. The addition of brighter AI strengthens Milestone’s offerings for video management software, video surveillance as a service, and video analytics The acquisition, Milestone said, additionally opens a range of opportunities with anonymization capabilities and privacy enhancement to fuel the company’s ongoing growth journey in and beyond security. The technology also serves as a cornerstone of Milestone’s recently announced data library and AI model training tool, Project Hafnia, the company said. Founded in 2017, brighter AI will continue to operate as part of a separate business area within Milestone.
