Diagnosis Is Not Only Skin Deep

Diagnosis of skin cancer and other diseases traditionally involves invasive biopsies. However, performing biopsies of multiple lesions to be certain of the diagnosis is not always practical and can be especially uncomfortable for the patient. Researchers therefore are developing noninvasive techniques with which to identify such cancers.
