STEMMER IMAGING Acquires Phase 1 Technology Corp.
PUCCHEIM, Germany, March 28, 2024 — STEMMER IMAGING AG has signed an agreement to acquire New York-based Phase 1 Technology, a fellow machine vision technology supplier. The acquisition expands STEMMER’s presence in North America. The company already has locations in Mexico and Latin America. The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2024.
Phase 1 Technology is a vertically integrated distributor of machine vision technology, including cameras, sensors, lenses, industrial lighting, frame grabbers, and interface boards, primarily serving the North American market. Customers of Phase 1 Technology are able to purchase industrial vision products from top manufacturers, including JAI, Teledyne, Hamamatsu, Baumer, and Sony, among others.
