With our well-established capability for large optic coatings, Omega Optical offers custom and very high-volume optical coatings. Two New York-based facilities provide thin-film coating services for glass, metals, ceramics, and polymers. Omega Optical also successfully coats IR optic materials with diamond-like coatings (DLC) onto silicon, germanium, zinc sulfide, zinc selenide, and chalcogenide.

When size matters. Our vast chamber systems allow us to coat UV to IR onto materials measuring up to 40” in diameter, including mirrors and metal coatings on surfaces measuring up to 108” in diameter. These huge coaters can also easily convert to massive volumes of < 2” diameter squares.
