EMF offers DLC coatings for exceptional durability, added coating hardness, and high IR transmission. They are ideal for optical applications. With our proprietary DLC chamber, we can avoid nonuniform thickness while controlling adhesion. DLC is ideal for coating germanium, silicon, zinc sulfide, zinc selenide, and chalcogenides. Our PE-CVD process, combined with a unique coating geometry, virtually eliminates pinholes and decreases all processing defects.
