Alcatel Optronics to Buy Kymata
PARIS, July 31 -- Alcatel Optronics has agreed to buy privately held Scotland-based Kymata Ltd for 134 million euros in stock. Under the terms of the agreement, Alcatel Optronics -- majority owned by Alcatel -- said it would exchange nine million Alcatel Class O shares and 2.2 million Alcatel Class A shares for all outstanding shares in Kymata, a maker of high-end passive optical components.
