Founded in 1957, RMI designs and manufactures precision optics and coatings. Our technical expertise include laser optics from DUV to Far IR; IR optics including high output diamond turning; and custom optical assemblies. We have proven experience in solutions for aerospace/defense, life science, medical, semiconductor, industrial, and research markets.

Reynard Corporation manufactures custom optics and thin-film coatings from 0.2 to 50 microns (UV-IR). Other in-house capabilities include diamond turning, optical fabrication, photolithography pattern optics, environmental testing, and design services. Prototype to production, ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR registered, and Cybersecurity (CMMC) compliant.

Produces high-performance optical coatings and components specializing in the design, development, and manufacture of ion-beam sputtered, low optical loss, laser-damage resistant thin films for the UV-VIS-IR spectral region. Applications include lasers, laser devices, nonlinear crystals, medical instruments, and other photonic devices.
