Designed to optimize the production of lasers and optical transceivers used in WDM systems, the model 438 measures wavelength, power, and OSNR of multiple optical signals simultaneously. Wavelength is measured to ± 0.3 pm and OSNR is calculated to > 40 dB. A measurement rate of 10 Hz is the fastest available for a multi-wavelength meter.
