Request InfoIndustrial Fiber Optics Inc.Industrial Fiber Optics' new cutter for plastic fiber produces precise cuts and fiber ends that the company says exceed the quality of those obtained with other cutting tools or with polishing. The device uses standard single-edge razor blades that are replaced by removing a single screw. Six apertures are available to cut simplex and duplex jacketed fibers, bare fibers and fiber lightguides. In addition, the device splits the 1000-µm- core duplex fiber jacket precisely down the middle during insertion.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSBioPhotonics.com April 2024 IssueAI FPGAsThe Agilex™ 5 FPGAs from Altera and Intel are AI enabled field programmable gate arrays meant for mid-range applications including video, industrial, robotics, medical, and others.
