Request InfoMcPHERSONMcPherson Inc.’s vacuum-ultraviolet spectrometer, Model 234/302, now delivers improved efficiency over a wider range. Two new diffraction gratings are available. For the vacuum-ultraviolet, the aluminum magnesium fluoride-coated grating operates from 100 to 200 nm. The new lower groove density aluminum-coated grating works through the nonvacuum-UV-VIS regions. These join the platinum-coated grating that is used at wavelengths shorter than 120 nm (>10eV.) The gratings extend the optimization of the 200-mm-focal-length spectrometer over the 30- to 550-nm range.
