TeraXion Bragg Grating Notch FiltersThe WSF series from TeraXion comprises all-fiber band-stop (notch) filters that are used to selectively attenuate or block a wavelength or a range of wavelengths while allowing others to pass through. The series uses TeraXion’s FBG (fiber Bragg grating) to guide unwanted signals through the cladding of the fiber where it can be extracted out. Featuring a stopband attenuation loss of ≥20 dB, a stopband bandwidth of five to 20 nm, and a stopband center wavelength of between 700 and 2000 nm, the WSF series can be used for tandem or in-band pumping, spectroscopy, biomedical imaging, microscopy, or other life sciences or scientific applications.
