Laser Research Optics is offering a line of direct field-replacement CO2 optics for lasers used in cutting high-temperature gaskets requiring clean edges. The components are compatible with various low-power laser brands such as Amada, Coherent, Cincinnati, Epilog, Mazak, Synrad and Universal.

Among the offerings are lenses in outside-diameter sizes from ½ to 1 in. with 1- to 12-in. focal lengths; also available are silicon, copper and molybdenum laser mirrors in thicknesses from ½ in. to 10 mm for extra dirty environments. To aid system alignment, the lenses are available with antireflection and dual-band coatings.

Optimized for 10.6 µm, the optics line meets OEM and ISO-10110 specifications.
