RIVERSIDE, R.I., Sept. 11, 2014 — The new 3900 Series FiberStar laser cutting system from LaserStar Technologies can make intricate patterns in metals, plastics and ceramics.

The fiber laser operates at 1070 nm with an output power of 500 W. The system offers a programmable 4-Axis computer numerical control (CNC) system controller, integrated chiller and chamber exhaust with material filter capture.

Manufacturing applications include medical devices and instruments; aerospace, automotive, electronic and tool and die components; and jewelry.
